Criteria for Admission

Criteria for Admission

For admission in the next class, the student must produce a "Result Sheet" of the previous class, particularly from the Wifaaq- ul- Madaaris- il-Arabiyyah together with an attendance certificate.
The Jamiah pays full attention to the education of the students. Hence, it is in their own interest that they should abide by the rules and regulations mentioned ahead in this brochure.
It is a basic condition that the student must hold correct beliefs about Islam as well as love for following the sunnah as well as following the worthy predecessors – both in thoughts and deeds.
A student should be at least ten years old for admission to the initial regular class while young students below this age are eligible for admission to the "Hifz" classes.
Students who have cleared school at the middle or matriculation level will be allowed to appear for admission tests to "Darajah Ulaa" (Arabic level One) subject to the production of their school certificate.
Students who had not studied anywhere else but had come to the Madrasah for the first time would, at first, go through the course of Wifaaq- ul- Madaaris- il-Arbiyyah up to the Middle level, called Mutawassat or I′daadiyyah.

Method of admission

A student has to pass through three stages for admission test and examination, which is as follows:

The student is first examined orally for his aptitude in Naazirah Qur′an, Salaah and supplications. The application for admission of a successful candidate is thereafter processed for the next stage of the admission test.
A written test is held for those students who were successful in the first stage for the desired class.
Those who get through the written test are tried in the third stage for viva voce in which they are either examined on all or selected books of the previous class.

The student, who gets through the final stage, gets an admission form. After the official procedure for confirming his admission, he is issued an "Admit Card". His name is enrolled in the register of admitted students.

It must be remembered that admission to the Jamiah and its branches is done at the Jamiah only.
